~ Working it out ~
With almost one month of 2010 under my belt, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed. The year started well, with a word, and plans, and a hazy-yet-positive notion of where I wanted to be in 12 months’ time, but somewhere along the line I’ve become a little too mesmerised by the Voice. Knowing I was going to be hunkering down for some soul work with the girls last weekend I put together a worksheet for us to play with. I figured we’d all done the Christine and Leonie worksheets, but perhaps it was time to take the plans to the next level – Unravelling the Year Ahead.
As it turned out, getting eight women to sit down and map out their year is not easy when there is reiki, tarot cards and toasted crumpets to enjoy, so we’ve all vowed to work through the sheets on our own this week, with a lit candle and a heart full of dreams.
I thought you might like to join us: >> click here << to download the worksheet. It’s four pages… it’s free… it might help :)
And please do let me know how you get on!

Holy smokes! Has this ever set off the firecrackers in my brain!
Effing brilliant, and exactly what I needed three weeks into the big ’10. You BBC ladies are nothing short of fab.
Oh goodness, I needed something like this. Thank you.
Oh how kind you are to share your worksheet! Thank you very much. I’m taking it home with me to work on it in front of the fire tonight – it looks challenging in all the right kinds of ways!
wow – this is great. Thanks for sharing your worksheet. I’m looking forward to sitting quietly with this to work through it.
Cheers…….
love.love.love. you are amazing !
thank you susannah, i love your worksheet and plan to download later. xo
Oh my Susannah..thank you…this is wonderful! I will stick it in with my Unravelling journal to work on! Wow!!
Seriously..I would not have gotten beyond the Reiki, crumpets and tarot cards..LOL!! How fun is that!!
Namaste, Sarah
I’m not sure I can express the ENORMITY of my appreciation for this, not to mention your timing … I’m creating a ‘master’ so that I’ll have it to use every year, and AVAILABLE to use starting in December each year, to get somewhat ahead of the upcoming new year. This is surely one of the most generous gifts you could’ve given — THANK YOU!!!!
Perfect. Just what I need. Thank you kind lady.
Perfect! I’ve been jotting down goals and aspirations here and there, but this is an excellent mix of right & left brain.
Thanks so much for sharing!
yeah. you rock. xx
this is just what I need, thank you :) x
also not helped by the fact that some of us (okay, me specifically) didn’t have a bloody word for 2010. and just when i say i don’t have one, it shows up and proves me wrong!
i’m going home tonight to work on my sheets and cast some spells. i was inspired by jo’s secret wish and promise to share mine with the group once i figure out what it is!
you are awesome beyond compare
Fantastic. Finally things get clearer and take shape while I write them down. Thanks. x
Thank you so much for sharing this with us! I will be sure to let you know how it works
That worksheet is fantastic! I have been trying to do a projection of where I want to be and needed a way to organize it all. I kept finding myself making lists and getting lost in them. Thank you so so much for this! Hopefully I can have a moment to myself to fill this out entirely.
Brilliant ! Such a great idea ! Thank you so much for that Susannah.
thank you. very very much. i’m going to work on this.
Love this! Can’t even begin to express how excited I am to start dreaming and filling in the blanks. Thanks for sharing your creativity and wisdom with the world. You are amazing!
Thank you so much Susannah, for sharing!
I am going to a cafe (quiet) to do them right now!
Will let you know more when I complete them. Perhaps I can bring them to the Woman’s Healing Circle meet I have at month’s end.
xo
Andrea

thank you for sharing your worksheet! i look forward to sitting down with it. and i love, love, love the ring in the pic :)
can’t wait to work on this! :)
thank you
How generous of you to share these worksheets with us. I can figure out my life now – thank you! :)
thank you for sharing this. i’m not doing the word thing but i have plenty of 2010 dreams and plans. it would be good (and a tad daunting) to map them out. lovely stuff.
So great!! Thanks for sharing this, Susannah!
Leah, this is terrific. Now, I think to complete it I should be in a nice hotel room on the coast away from distractions! Actually I’d like to go to our cabin 1 1/2 hours away, but too much snow.
Thanks so much for sharing this! Looks like a great worksheet!
I love it. You are my favorite rock star.
Wait. Does this mean I need a word for 2010 after all?
sounds like a nice idea.
I love plans and lists. I always have a monthly and weekly list of things to do and a yearly list.
Wow Susannah… this is truly amazing… I have to start answering… difficult to talk now… so exciting!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! A big hug to you, you are the BEST!
This is truly a gift and a half, Susannah! I downloaded, photocopied it and am giving it to my girls! ;) Super thanks, astigirl! ;)
THANKS susannah! really loved the bit about meeting your self at the end of 2010 in a cafe – really helpful! thanks lovley :))))
Wonderful idea, and so pretty (which makes it that much more appealing to do!).
Thanks so much for sharing with us.
This is so wonderful. I emailed it to my husband and my best friend, and blogged about it at my blog (http://www.fashionforwriters.com/) in a post about staying organized. Thank you!
Hello! I’m a new ink on my fingers follower…this is the first time i’ve actually clicked on your feed in my feed list and boy was it the right thing to do! i sat down this morning and started my list of goals for this year and as often happens i got overwelmed with all the thoughts pouring out of my head and how much work i have ahead of me..so very much in ‘me fashion’, i stopped all work and i turned to my feed list …i wish i could show you a picture of my face as i read your post and saw your link to your worksheet! excited beyond all measures! it’s as if i sent up a request and the universe answered… lol… thank you so very much for sharing!! i’m feeling a little less overwelmed and a lot more organized with your trusty worksheet in hand!! Have a fabulous day!
Just printed out the worksheet. Thank you for sharing.
I found you on the Creative Perch blog and I look forward to reading more about you and your work!
Katie – i love it when the universe does that – fantastic! :)
I am not usually one to gush, Susannah, but this is so amazingly fabulous and generous of you. Love, love, love it. I actually find setting my intentions for the year, and beyond, more than daunting because I never know WHAT I want. Most of the time I arrive at places by way of elimination or chance. Your worksheets offers a wonderful combination of thought, creativity and intention, I love the layout and everything about it. You are one inspirational guru! xo
Delurking to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed by life lately and I think this will help me out so very much.
I am seriously grateful for your blog. Although I don’t ever comment, I am definitely a regular reader. Thank you for being you.
I love this so much, my word for this year is “deconditionimg” i will delevop independent and original thoughts, and almost laugh at the crazy out dated cultural habits and beliefs and will laugh at one’s own sense of self importance. I am so loving this year already! :)
oh, thank you for this! i have been going about it in a haphazard way, and this is wonderful! xxoo
Oooh thank you for this.. I love lists.. and I am naturally an introspective, journaling type of gal.. so this will be awesome! Thank you for sharing your gifts! And I soo hope that i can get in your next class!
fantastic. exactly what so many of us need right now as the rush of the new year and all of its flurry has worn off, leaving us a little in the mist…
thank you so very much~one of those times where something comes into my life at exactly the precise moment in time when it is needed (or wanted) the most! :)
oh very cool. i am definitely going to make time for this. i sat at the beginning of the year and plotted out my time and already i feel my plans slipping around. but some things are working and, well, it was nice to take that time to :: look ahead ::. i look forward to perusing these pages and plugging in plans and wishes and dreams. have a lovely day. *
Susannah, you are an angel. Thank you for sharing this. It has definitely arrived at a perfect time. You are loved, woman!!
LOVE this. Thank you so much. I needed exactly this. Something tangible and in my hands.
Thank you so much for sharing! I have been in a funk all January and am excited to dig in and work it all out. You have no idea how much I needed to come across this tonight. Many many thanks.
thank you love, going to take a peek.
so wonderful. i printed out copies for my sisters as well. and what wonderful comments here. a few of them made me giggle and all of them warmed my heart. :::
thank you for your generosity… this is wonderful… working through this has really helped me… peace, happiness and ‘expansion’ to you this year x
wao! this is great! thank you!
(it is SO impossible to me! not to plan, but do what I said -write- I will do…:)…)
but even then, I believe that just to “think about it” and write it down, makes us to get some perspective, looking at ourselves and projecting us in life is VERY useful
Thanks again Susannah!
XOXO (missing the unravellings!)
Thank you Susannah, you are amazing, thank you for share it with us! it help me a lot to visualize what I exactly wants for this year . Love it!!!!
My husband also wants a copy :)
