Welcome to the world, little beautiful baby Noah… I have no words to describe how amazing this little chap is, but I know they will come to me soon. Just need to get a good night's sleep, one of the major perks of being an auntie (you get to come home). But i miss him like crazy, and I miss his mummy even more. She endured a 26-hour labour and was so brave, so amazing, so primal warrior-woman. It was an honour to help bring him into this world; I will never forget how his face looked as he slipped from my sister into the waiting hands of the (lovely and sweet) doctor……
Noah Irving Birkbeck, born at 7:57pm on April 1st 2010
ow… these are such beautiful photos… I’m due with my first baby in June and your post takes me to our near future…
Congratulations to you and your lovely family:)

Susannah, such lovely photos of baby Noah. I especially love the one of you and him together. That is so precious. And I love the one of him with his mom. Really lovely. You will have so much fun with him. Congrats, Auntie Susannah.
Oh, my word, he was worth the wait! He is really VERY gorgeous and the photos are amazing – congratulations auntie photobird and to mummy and daddy!
:) x
Congratulations! He is gorgeous, how precious!I love the little foot in the last picture – baby fingers and toes never cease to amaze me in all their tiny perfection.
Fantastic! Congrats to all! I can’t even clearly remember my Noah at this stage and it was only 6months ago. Remind your sis and hubbie to savour every moment and for you to capture as much on film as possible. it is a magical time but there is so much more magic to come! Love xxxxx
Love those Polas!!!!! Gorgeous baby: I love how his feet are still wrinkly from being inside. He looks so intense. :) I agree about the auntie perks: getting to go home. I have 4 nieces/nephews who I love, but haven’t felt the need to have one of my own. Just wait till Noah can watercolor…nothing cooler than little person paintings: wild and free. :)
Steve and Abby, what can I say, he’s totally adorable and looks like a mini-me Steve, love the boarding legs (and expression), need to kit him out ready in time for Round 4! xxx
I have to say this as Susannah never will. I cannot express enough how inspirational, supportive and fantastic Susannah was as a birthing partner for Abby Noah and Me. Having only brothers for siblings to experience full on sisterhood at such a precious time was a privilege indeed, I now feel honoured to be part of the Conway sisterhood. There is now a “glue” between us, a bond so strong it can never be broken, a beautiful thing. Neither can I convey the pride and awe I have for Abby, now and forever, calmness personified in what was a problematic childbirth and as far removed from our plans as possible. Noah is already in the breastfeeding groove, props to the Abs, lol. Of course Noah is uber gorgeous and wonderful BUT Susannah is the best and most beautiful Auntie in the world, cant thank you enough Sis love you, xxx
and thanks to all you bloggers for supporting her and for your touching kind words. Steve “Who’s the daddy” Birkbeck.
Awwww, he’s a cutie. Great photos of his beginning. Congrats on becoming an auntie. Take from an aunt of six, you’ll have loads of fun with this little guy.
I’m so happy for all of you! (I have 10 nieces & nephews & the youngest is another Noah–perfect name.) Enjoy & Steve’s celebration of you & your sister is lovely.
Lovely news, congratulations! These photos are so beautiful, and take me back to being a student midwife. There is nothing else like the energy of birthing, and getting to welcome a new little human being. He’s so lucky to have such a wonderful welcoming committee! oxox
What a handsome little guy! Pics are so brilliant and inspiring! Love the pics of Momma and Daddy holding little Noah too!
Noah you are going to become overwhelmed with the love that your Aunt has for you, I can already see it in what you have posted Susannah!

had - and certainly the most beautiful online EVER. I learned so
much from you - especially about grace, about open-hearted

Your guidance and how you share what you’ve been through really is a beacon that leads the way. In our society it’s difficult to find the time to come together as women and be supportive and share in a group, but you have found a way to create this, across countries no less! This course has really opened my eyes and heart and awakened so much compassion inside me, for myself and for everyone in the world." - Susie, autumn 2011 class
