My favourite Polaroid

This might just be my most favourite Polaroid shot ever. It was taken by my favourite person — my sister — of me holding my other favourite person — my nephew — standing beside my favourite place — the sea — with my favourite camera — my SX-70. The only way this could get any better is if this man was standing just out of camera shot.

Instant Love: The Polaroid Retreat!

So excited to announce that registration is now open for Instant Love, our Polaroid retreat in Marrakesh!  Jen, Amanda and I wanted our first Polaroid retreat to be held somewhere extra special to celebrate the launch of our book, and it took us about three seconds to agree that Peacock Pavillions was the perfect place. Check out our website to find out more!

Our little man

Noah and his hat
This post is really for my mum. She rang me this afternoon, just to check in, but her first words were: ‘you haven’t blogged!’ which is our new code for ‘are you okay?’ And as I told her, I am okay, just haven’t had much to say this week after the heady-thinkiness of the last two posts. I’ve been feeling quiet and have withdrawn into myself a little, and didn’t want to throw a blog post up for the sake of it. You know the ones I mean :)

I recently scanned these shots of our sweet boy. MAN, do I miss him. I’m literally counting down the day till i am back chasing him around the garden.

Blondie Bear, i miss you!

The magic of Marrakesh

Thank you for all your comments and emails about Blogging from the Heart — I am so fired up and ready to start weaving this tapestry for you! Today, however, i will be resting on the sofa, as I just got back from a few days with my nephew and now have another cold — a lot of bugs and viruses get passed around the nursery, huh? Poor Noah is always poorly, as are his mummy & daddy, his nana, and now his auntie! But it was worth it — it’s always worth it when it comes to that tiny ray of sunshine. I have some new Polaroids of him I can’t wait to share with you :) In the meantime, here are some Polas from my trip to Marrakesh last year. I had to keep so my shots for the book I wasn’t able to share them here, but now the books are ostensibly done, I can share the rejects at last…. more soon!
