I’m working slowly but surely on the editing, and allowed myself a little break this afternoon, to take a meader on the internet. And I’m so glad I did because i stumbled upon this incredible TED talk by Jill Bolte Taylor. It’s been viewed over six million times, so you might have seen it already, but please do watch it again. I cried and felt so inspired, I had to share it with you today. One piece of extra magic for your weekend. x
really interesting Susannah, thankyou for sharing!
I love Jill’s story. I read bits of her book. Amazing!
P.S.
I listened to you podcast via The Thriving Artist’s Project and I really enjoyed it!
xo
I saw it after you shared it on facebook and was moved by it. There is so much truth in what she says, and she is able to re-tell a difficult moment with such humour!
Thanks a lot for sharing it :)
sorry, after you shared it on twitter!
Oh my gosh, wow, I haven’t seen this before. Thank you so much for sharing the link!
that was a BRILLIANT talk.
One of my all time favorite interviews…I loved her book too!
You just made my weekend so compelling after watching her video, I didn’t mind an hour of waiting for the traffic to clear after watching the amazing fireworks last Friday night for our Canada Day. How can I be mad waiting when this lady has to experience 8 years of waiting to get back on the track after her stroke.
I love how passionate she was when telling her story to others. I love how she loves both her being with herself and being part of a big community that she lives in.
She just become my hero. Thank you for sharing this wonderful thing with me.
hope you had a wonderful weekend, Susannah (I had a brilliant one that involved cleaning one day and my birthday the next).
I haven’t been able to comment as much as I should on your lovely blog because of study (and a touch of laziness), but I’ve been reading and I love the title of your book!
oops, better get back to study…
Thank you so much for sharing! I love inspiring stories like this. *tears
